You agree to use Ledgent AI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the services complies with applicable laws, regulations, and your organization's internal policies.

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to the platform or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or availability of the services.
• Upload malicious software, harmful code, or fraudulent content.
• Use the services for unlawful or prohibited activities.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except where permitted by applicable law.

Customers retain ownership of all financial, operational, and business data submitted to Ledgent AI. We process customer data solely for the purpose of providing the requested services and do not claim ownership of customer information.

Ledgent AI uses artificial intelligence to automate accounting workflows and assist finance teams. AI-generated outputs are intended to support users and should be reviewed where appropriate before being relied upon for accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, or business decisions.

Customers remain responsible for their financial records, approvals, accounting policies, regulatory compliance, and business decisions.

Ledgent AI implements industry-standard security practices designed to protect customer information. These include secure authentication, encryption, role-based access controls, audit logging, and ongoing security improvements.

Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Ledgent AI platform, software, documentation, trademarks, branding, and related materials are the intellectual property of Ledgent AI or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to customers.

We strive to provide reliable and continuously available services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, software updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect service availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ledgent AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the use of our services, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or data.

We may suspend or terminate access to our services where necessary to protect the security or integrity of the platform, comply with legal obligations, or address violations of these Terms.

Separate commercial agreements may govern enterprise customers and paid subscriptions.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable laws, or business practices. Updated Terms will be published on this page together with the revised effective date. Continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
